The phrase 'heat damage' in itself is quite self-explanatory but for the people who are trying to differentiate their hair pattern to...well what is this?
Heat damage comes from anything heat related pertaining to your hair. Here are some examples:
sew-ins with leave out
repeatedly adding heat to maintain the leave out can cause the hair strands to strip their natural texture
daily use of heat
hair being excessively oiled when heat styling
just like fried chicken, you're frying that hair! add little to no oil for protection from heat
high level of heat
To spot the difference between your hair texture and the damaged parts; you'll see quite the difference between depending on your hair texture:

What's your texture? COMMENT BELOW!

Some parts of your hair that is damaged can loook looser than your texture or completely straight. The key sign of heat damage is if your roots (the hair starting at the scalp) is thicker than the rest to the ends.
You just might have it.

In my next blog post I will be giving tips on how to restore your hair BACK to its natural state. That's it for today, until next time 🥳
