First I think we should go over the difference between shedding and breakage.
Shedding is something normal so you shouldn't be concerned and pin that as to why your hair is not growing, although you should be alarmed if it's excessive amount of shedding. What causes excessive shedding? Stress. So that goes to say stop tripping over things YOU can't change and let the universe do its course, period
Another source of excessive shedding is your lack of vitamins; calcium, iron, protein etc.
vitamins is very important because it goes through your blood stream and blood circulation is something that promotes hair growth WHICH reduces hair shedding! Hormones can play a part as well because it can throw you off balance and eventually increases your hair shedding cycle.
Last but not least, over moisturizing your hair can cause an increase of shedding and that also because your hair received more than enough of protein initiating the end of the hair's shed cycle, bye-bye hair strands!
BUT to recognize good shedding is if you see a white bulb 'meat' at the end of a piece of hair.

Breakage is dead hair FINALLY letting go when you should've did— sike naaaaaa but seriously, they look like short pieces or long with NO white bulb at the end. Sorry hun, that's breakage and what causes them?
all the same reasons for excessive shedding
damaged hair; heat damage, color treated hair, any chemical treated hair that is not properly cared for
lack of trims, I'm telling yall trimming helps man.
This would be the part where I tell you all how to stop it all but I believe if you read the following blogs, it'll help!
Knowing your hair porosity is a BIG thing to learn in order to properly care for your hair, its how your hair receive moisture !
W E L P! That's it for today's blog until next time when you see me drop ANOTHER product for yall :D and blog post...and youtube video LOL PEACE ✌
