LCO & LOC

Updated: Jul 31, 2020

If you're reading this, it's either you used the information I gave you on 'The Norm, High & Low'-- or you're still doing more research before you just try a new hair method. Well you're in good hands because I'm back with more info!

You want healthy hair right?

Okay! Let's begin.

This method will help you retain moisture after you figure out your hair porosity; it's important to know your porosity in order for the method to work efficiently in your favor. There's two categories when it comes to the lock and hold moisture method; LCO and LOC.

Let's talk about it!

Liquid, Cream & Oil

Liquid it can be water or a water based spray leave in conditioner. Oil can be an oil that works well with your porosity type; and cream (or butter) can be a leave in conditioner (preferably water based to get double the moisture).

When I mentioned butter, I mean mango or shea-- any hair butter of your choice. Mango for the low porosity gworls and shea butter for the high gworls, as I stated-- whichever hair butter of your choice.

Water is the #1 source of moisture when it comes to your hair, your hair eats it up but you have to keep it sealed; this is where oil comes to play. Oil acts as a seal to hold-- but not for long. Now here comes cream or butter, it acts as an extra hold and moisture. I personally use shea butter in my steps of LCO (liquid, cream &oil) because it works well with my high porosity hair.

As I am a person that likes to help, here are some oils for low and high porosity hair!

LOW

HIGH

Try both of the methods, and see how well your hair holds moisture. Remember know your hair porosity for the best results!

That's it for today's blog post, check out my official first upload on YouTube where I install a wig for the first time! Tell me how I did lol, BUT-- until next time my naturals <3
